Art therapy

Using Art in a Therapeutic Context

This course is suitable for counsellors, teachers, health and support workers – anyone who is using or thinking about using art in their work with others.

5th-6th October 2019

10am – 4pm

With Bridget Rees and Lorraine Hazell-Linder

This course will consider safety and boundaries around art-making. You will learn basic principles of using art in a therapeutic context, exploring practical methods and techniques of art-making and engage in and reflect upon your own art processes.

You do not need any special skills to do these workshops but you do need a willingness to be open to change and to be moved by something other than your conscious mind.
